Aida Murad’s Art Bio

 
 

Aida Murad—is a Young Global Leader by World Economic Forum and a Forbes Women’s featured artist and author of Life is a Miracle, a first of its kind book about using art for human upliftment. She is on a mission to help people feel seen, heard, and loved through the arts. Overcoming a health trauma that left her semi-paralyzed for 4.5 years, she developed a unique finger-painting technique, creating transformational art experiences focused on nature, wellbeing, and consciousness.

Aida has sold out 13 fine art collections, exhibited in 37 global shows, and collaborated with organizations like Google, MIT, and the World Bank to showcase art’s impact. Her work has been featured in TED, Reuters, Al Jazeera, the United Nations, and published by the University of Cambridge with Ai Weiwei.

She was named the Inaugural Artist in Residence at Georgetown University’s Lombardi Cancer Center, transforming patient spaces through art, and the TEDTech Inaugural Artist, highlighting nature as technology. Aida has collaborated with Grammy-winning artists, including John Densmore of The Doors.

Her work extends beyond galleries—she co-organized a major mental health summit with Deepak Chopra’s foundation and helped launch the first U.S. festival celebrating refugee talents. She also serves as an advisor to art foundations and governments on how to use art for impact, and economic growth. Recognized as a BMW Foundation Leader, Aida continues to use art as a force for human upliftment. Before being an Artist, she was an Economist and youngest advisor to the Jordanian government, supporting in managing over $200 million in economic related initiatives.
